Building Mask Policy

Masks are currently OPTIONAL inside the building.

The COVID pandemic situation is continually changing. We look to the CDC, the Bucks County Department of Health, and the Penn Northeast Conference of the United Church of Christ for guidance in setting up COVID protocols, which include possible masking requirements. As recommendations change, we may also change our policy. Our biggest concern is doing our best to keep everyone safe and healthy.

We request that anyone with a cough or other symptoms to please wear a mask in the building.

During each monthly Consistory meeting, Consistory will consider the following information to determine whether masks are optional, recommended, or required in the building:

  • The current COVID-19 Community Level for Bucks County, as well as the levels in recent weeks to look at trends. We will also consider the current and recent levels of nearby counties (Lehigh and Northampton). We use the CDC COVID-19 Community Level tool found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html to track these levels.

  • The latest CDC recommendations.

  • Recommendations from the Penn Northeast Conference of the United Church of Christ.
